Paper Wings Over Berlin EBook
Paper Wings Over Berlin EBook
From 1961 until the wall came down in 1989, more than 5,000 East Germans (including some 600 border guards) managed to cross the border by jumping out of windows adjacent to the wall, flying in hot air balloons, crawling through sewers, climbing over the barbed wire, and driving through unfortified parts of the wall at high speeds.
The year is 1973. Two childhood friends living on opposite sides of the Berlin Wall connect through paper, pen, and Shakespeare. With their childhood love growing through time and old connections haunting both, crossing the wall may call for sacrifices neither of them is prepared for.
This Cold War romantic suspense from Kai Marlowe will keep you wanting more.

This advance reader copy kept me on the edge of my seat throughout. Angelika and Peter find love before the construction of the wall between East and West Berlin. The times in Germany separated family and friend alike and this is an amazing examination of the tribulations these people endured. I look forward to reading more about these people!
I enjoyed it
I liked it a lot. I was given an arc and I choose to give an honest review.
